Principal Welcome

I am Crystal Boyette and the proud principal of Rutherford Middle School. It is an honor to work side by side with our students and this community. I advocate for our students and take pride in building positive relationships, my students are considered family. My vision is to build a positive learning culture by identifying barriers and meeting the diverse needs of all students through providing resources and needed support. While I strive to identify any struggling student I also am proud to establish the Advanced IB Pathways Middle Years Program for 6-8th graders who require a more challenging and rigorous learning environment.

This program will enable our
students to utilize critical thinking skills across the curriculum while serving the community and preparing for advanced studies in high school. My belief is that all students can and will learn relevant life skills, be engaged in learning and be a proud graduate of Rutherford High School.
